When you join the UM community you are assigned a UMIT computer services account linked to your CaneID. The CaneID single-sign on page is used to authenticate for a number of UM services.

Once you have a CaneID, you should request that your department or GSO request a RSMAS email address and email list subscriptions for you. They will send us your Name, CNumber, CaneID, and a non-UM email address for you. You will then get a default email address in the form First.Lastname@rsmas.miami.edu and subscriptions to the appropriate RSMAS email lists.

Before you leave, you should look at the suggestions for retaining your information. Guest account access can be granted in some instances.

For additional information and support, email rcf-support@rsmas.miami.edu with as many details as you can provide or phone 305-421-4028 during regular business hours. We are in MSC221.
