Why are (some) clouds so bright ?? Forward 3DRT calculations of modeled Cu congestus (pdf)
Presentation at MISR Science Team Meeting, Pasadena, CA, Dec. 2004.
This work revealed extremely high cloud optical depths for a modeled cloud whose radar reflectivities matched observations; more work is required.
