My research focuses on articulating cloud processes and cloud radiative impacts. Examples include elucidating and explaining cloud vertical structure in the Tropics; mixed-phase cloud behavior in the Arctic; three-dimensional radiative transfer behavior for both boundary-layer and more vertically-developed clouds; synoptic/aerosol indirect effects on stratocumulus clouds; mesoscale and microphysical behavior of trade-wind Cumulus.
