I always found myself strongly inclined towards the geochemistry and elemental changes during the geological processes. So, fifteen years ago I started focusing on elemental changes during alteration and weathering processes in magmatic rocks and later on switched to low temperature geochemistry and started studying sediment and water geochemistry. I also enjoy putting the geochemical processes into a model and simulating the future changes. Finally my concern about environmental changes and human impact made me to start paying attention to paleoclimate and paleoceanography. So I guess for the next few years I will be studying paleoclimate using different archives such as peat cores, speleothems, corals and foraminifera and proxies like stable isotopes, trace elements and REEs.
