Evan k. D’Alessandro, ph.d.

Welcome to my webpage. I am a research assistant professor of marine biology and ecology at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. I am also a three time alumnus of the school as I received my BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees here. During my nearly two decades in the greater Miami and Florida Keys areas I have fallen in love with the the diverse natural environments that flourish here, and have become an avid photographer. Have a look at some of my photos and enjoy!

A note for potential students: Unfortunately at this time I am not able to take on any new students of my own. However, I am always happy to discuss ideas, collaborate, and serve on committees. There are also several great paying (student paid tuition) programs at UM RSMAS, whose students I am more than happy to serve as chair for or mentor.
