Summary
In this program we will measure wet and dry aerosol deposition in the
trade winds at Barbados and Miami with a focus on African dust.
Our study focuses on:
The importance of dry
vs.
wet deposition
The chemistry of iron in precipitation and
seawater,
and
The role inorganic and organic N &
P play in system
productivity and water column nutrient distributions and ratios.
