NEWS:

6/13/09: Undertook an expedition to the Monster Coral (at left; for a non-scientific description of the specimen, click here) aboard the R/V Vigilante with Cpt. Rosenberg. All trials and tribulations aside, it was a great success! And I was finally able to see one of my specimens in the wild.

11/14/08: Helping out and participating in the IMBIZO meeting in Coconut Grove this week proved to be a good opportunity to look at marine biogeochemistry in a changing climate from a new perspective.

7/20/08: Goldschmidt in Vancouver, Canada has also concluded. It was a great meeting and got lots of new ideas circulating. Also, absolutely beautiful area!

7/11/08: The International Coral Reef Symposium winds down and so concludes my first talk for an international meeting.

4/28/08: Just returned from CLIMECO workshop in Brest, France. A number of new avenues to pursue. And many thanks to everyone involved!
