Model 1 Forcing and Reference Run Comparison
Precipitation with BC Overlay
Model 1 Precipitation and BC Variance. Precipitation is filled and is in units of mm2/day2. BC contours: dashed lines are 1-10; solid lines are 10-1000. BC is divided by 20000 and in units of 20kg/m2. Black carbon variance in units of g2/m4. Model 1 Precipitation and BC Mean. Precipitation is filled and is in units of mm/day. BC contours: dashed lines are 0-1; solid lines are 1-10. BC is divided by 1000 and in units of kg/m2.
Black carbon mean in units of g/m2.

| Black carbon temporal mean for the forcing run. Black carbon is column added. This is very close the the figure in Wang [2004], Figure 2. The difference is he uses a different color scale which accentuates lower values. I have not been able to achieve this. Most values are between 20 and 500. | Black carbon temporal mean for the reference run. | Difference between black carbon forcing run and black carbon reference run means. | ||||
