Facilities and Physical Plant

The Rosenstiel School Facilities and Physical Plant Department maintains all buildings on the Virginia Key campus, some 270,000 square feet of space spread over 16 acres. The department is also responsible for the renovations, maintenance of air conditioning, and campus security. It serves the research and teaching needs of the faculty, students and staff of the School, the University of Miami system, and the scientists of the other research facilities on Virginia Key.
