The Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science is simultaneously divided into overarching research theme groups and academic divisions. With an eye toward interdisciplinary research, scientists go outside these boundaries — sometimes beyond the school or university boundaries — to set up research bodies that will help improve marine and atmospheric science and allow for observation and study from myriad perspectives. The following is a list of the various research groups Rosenstiel School researchers have set up to do just that:
