title: "Sea ice modelling in the Canadian Archipelago" abstract: A finite-element model of the sea ice dynamics has been developed and its capabilities are demonstrated in the context of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. The model comes as a p1-p1 or p1-p0 version. The p1-p1 is more appropriate for models such as FVCOM or QUODDY whereas the p1-p0 is more appropriate for models such as UnTRIM, DELFIN... In both versions, traditional VP, EVP and granular rheology is available. One major challenge still unresolved is related to the advection methods, so far too dissipative. Frederic Dupont
