This web page describes briefly the Spectral Element Ocean Model, and points to various documentation and models. Most of it concerns the two dimensional shallow water code which is available for download. I have tried to put as much documentation as possible on this web page to help first time user get started. I have strived to update the documentation whenever I could, but I simply do not have the time to keep it up to date constantly. However, even though the details may be incorrect, the documentation still described the basic steps needed to get started. I have also put a lot of pre- and post-processing software that we have built through the years to help visualize and analyze SEOM simulations. The bibliography links points to a number of articles dealing with spectral element applications in the ocean and atmosphere.
