A Little About Me

Here's me and my wife Caryl
I am currently living in Miami working on my PhD in the Division of Marine Geology and Geophysics at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami. I moved here with my wife, Caryl, after finishing my M.S. in geology at the University of Georgia.
My two main hobbies back in GA were fishing and rugby. I did a lot of trout fishing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. My river of choice is the Chattooga River due to it's wonderful fishing and beautiful surroundings. I started playing rugby while I was an undergrad at the University of Georgia in 2000. Since moving to Miami, I haven't played much rugby mainly due to a lack to time. Recently, I have become more interested in sailing and since Miami is the prefect place for that, I joined the UM Recreational Sailing Club and hopefully will be able to hone my skipper skill.
