Hi! My name is Kelly Gibson and I’m currently in my third year as a PhD student at RSMAS. I work in the paleoclimatology lab, affectionately termed “Club Mud.” I sometimes even pick up a wicked tan from my microscope light, maintaining my family’s belief that if you live in Miami, you’re tan all year round.
Research Interests - Abrupt climate change; reconstruction of paleoclimate from marine sediments - Stable isotope and trace element geochemistry - Paleoceaography and paleontology
