October 18, 2011
- The Marine Science Graduate Student Organization (MSGSO) of the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science will host its annual benefit auction.
- The MSGSO, a student-run organization, represents more than 200 students who are pursing advanced degrees in marine biology and fisheries; marine geology and geophysics; applied marine physics; meteorology and physical oceanography; marine affairs and policy; and marine and atmospheric chemistry.
- The goal of this event, co-sponsored by Interval International, is to raise funds for students to travel to scientific conferences, field work sites, and internships, so they can present their research and network with scientists in their respective fields. Student and faculty auctioneers help to make the event exciting and fun. Food by Ayesha and drinks will be provided.
