Instrument platform nearing completion on the roof of the Marine Science Center. The central area between the railing is 15' square (4.6 m square)
The top railing is 1.07m (3'6") from the floor of the platform and 1.65m (5'5") above the level of the roof. The railing has a diameter of 4.1 cm (1 5/8 in.). Note the front edge of the platform is set back 1.93 m (6'4") from the edge of the roof.
