Title of the Talk: “Can Aquaculture and Transgenic Tilapia Expressing a Humanized Insulin Gene Play a Future Role in the Treatment of Diabetes”

About the Author: Dr. James R. Wright is professor and head of Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of Calgary/Alberta Health Services-Calgary. He is also a pediatric pathologist at Alberta Children's Hospital. Since receiving his medical degree from  Ohio State University, Dr. Wright has been involved in numerous research including transgenic fish in the treatment of diabetes.
