Cangialosi Hurricane Specialist, National Hurricane Center TITLE: " A detailed look at the National Hurricane Center's verification procedure” Abstract: An explanation of the verification procedures performed at the National Hurricane Center (NHC) will be presented. In addition,
a regional verification will also be shown discussing the biases of the NHC forecasts
and the models over the past five years.
