You are cordially invited to attend the first (of what we hope to be many) Fairchild Mini-Symposium on Tropical Biology featuring scientific talks by faculty members of Florida International University and University of Miami, as well as a keynote talk by Dr.  Scott Robinson - the Katharine Ordway Professor of Ecosystem Conservation at the University of Florida's Museum of Natural History (see list of speakers below).

 

This event will be held at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden's visitor center ballroom on Saturday February 18, 2012, from 11:00am to 6:30pm. 

In addition to the scientific talks, we will include a tour of the garden, lunch and cocktails. This mini-symposium is free and open to the public (please distribute this invitation as widely as possible).
