Dear friend, I hope you are enjoying the long, holiday weekend. The
Hollywood Hills Saltwater Fishing Science and Social Club is a free,
informal club that brings together scientists, hobbyists, recreational
and professional fisherman to discuss science, fishing, and the ocean.
Last month, Capt Kipnis filled the tiki bar and delivered a great
seminar about global warming and the changing oceans. A big THANKS to
Capt Dan for a very informative talk!!

Capt Bouncer Smith, Travis Moore of the Nova SE University
Oceanogrqphic Center, and Professor Arthur Mariano of the U will be
leading our next discussion on Wednesday, Nov 30th at 7:30 pm after a
happy hour at the very affordable Boson Johnny's Bar and Grill, 2120 N
Dixie Hwy, Hollywood, FL 33020. The topic of the seminar is
"Mediterranean Sea Swordfish". The tag team presentation will cover
different aspects of swordfish in the Mediterranean Sea including what
we know about the fish and how to fish for them. I hope you all can
make this special seminar and if any experts would like to join us and
speak, get in touch. Please pass this announcement along to friends,
colleagues, and post to event listings and forums.

Come early and enjoy the outside Tiki Bar with a new, much improved
menu at Boston Johnny's featuring fresh fish, home-made soups, and
daily specials. Please email me at professoro@bellsouth.net with any
questions about the club and to add, remove, or change your email from
our confidential mailing list. cheers, arthur
