We are very pleased to start off our fall seminar series with Captain Dan
Kipnis, an award winning fisherman and conservationist. Capt Kipnis is the
Chairman of the Miami Beach Marine Authority and a committee chair member
of the Miami Dade County Climate Change Task Force. He has also served on
the Biscayne Bay Management Committee, Miami River Review Committee, City
of Miami Waterfront Board and was a Commissioner on the State of Florida
Marine Fisheries Commission. The topic of his seminar is "Global Warming -
The Changing Oceans". This will be a very informative seminar and I hope
you all can attend, especially the climate experts, to join in the
follow-up discussion. The Oct 26th seminar is at Boson Johnny's Bar and
grill, 2120 N Dixie Hwy, Hollywood, FL 33020 and starts at 7:30 PM after
the Happy Hour.

The next seminar will be 11/30 with Capt Bouncer Smith, Travis Moore from
Nova U. SE Oceanographic Center and myself discussing Swordfish in the
Mediterranean Sea.  Please email
