| There will be a lecture tomorrow (April 15) at 4 PM in the SLAB conference room at the University of Miami's RSMAS campus on Virginia Key : "A Century of Service" Rusty Pfost The fascinating history of weather observation in south Florida is reviewed as we prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Weather Service's establishment of a weather office in Miami. This leads in to the NWSFO's Open House the following day, April 16th, 10 AM to 2 PM marking the centenary of the weather service's presence in south Florida. |
