We will be having a paper discussion of two papers out of Stephen Palumbi's lab in advance of his visit later this week. 

The paper discussion will be on Tuesday, March 29, at 1pm in the Maps and Charts room in the Library.  MBF graduate students will be facilitating the discussion. The papers are available at the links following each citation.

A reminder that Stephen Palumbi's talk will be at 12 noon, Friday April 1 in the Auditorium.  His talk is titled "Genetic variation across the genome in sea urchins and reef building corals: looking for the genes that generate population structure and environmental adaptation in a changing world."  Dr. Palumbi is a professor at Stanford University and the Director of Stanford's Hopkins Marine Station in Pacific Grove, CA.
