Alanna Mitchell, whose second book Sea Sick: The Hidden Crisis in the Global Ocean won last year’s prestigious Grantham Prize for Excellence in Reporting on the Environment, will give an informal seminar on translating science for a variety of audiences.  As a journalist, Mitchell has extensive experience writing about science but for non-scientists.  She knows how important it is to get our research out into the community for all to understand.
