Happy 2011 RSMAS!
Lunch Bytes student computing seminar is back tomorrow featuring a topic
that could pertain to all divisions (as long as they require or are
interested in atmos/ocean/land data). Tomorrow's topic will explore the
many benefits of using the online IRI Ingrid data library system to
locate, subset, filter, extract, download, and visualize data. This system
requires ZERO programming skill and is highlighted by the utilitarian
point and click method.

I have discovered three things in life that have no substitute: 1) De
Cecco Arrabiata pasta sauce, 2) ProGold ProLink bike chain lubricant, and
3) the Ingrid data processor. Imitators only produce belly and head aches.

Come find out how Ingrid can reform your academic life with an easy to
follow step by step tutorial. Also, come learn why it is called Ingrid! At
the least, if you decide not to join, do yourself a favor and buy a jar of
DeCecco Arrabiata sauce and see what you have been missing for all of
these years (and invite me over for a plate for substantially improving
your quality of life with this simple $3.99 suggestion).
