SEMINAR: AMS Meeting on Tuesday

Greetings South Florida AMS members,

I would like to notify you of an AMS meeting which will be held next Tuesday evening (November 9) at 7 pm.  This meeting will be held at the NHC/NWS office in Miami.

We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Melissa Griffin, the Assistant State Climatologist for The State of Florida, as our guest speaker.  In addition to her duties as Assistant State Climatologist, Mrs. Griffin works at the Center for Ocean-Atmosphere Prediction Studies (COAPS) on the FSU campus in Tallahassee, and she also serves as the CoCoRAHS (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network) Coordinator for the State of Florida.  She will be speaking primarily on the CoCoRAHS program in Florida.

Please join us for this informative talk next Tuesday evening, and feel free to invite other friends and colleagues who you feel may be interested in this presentation.
