SEMINAR: seminar Deltares OCT 20

Loana Arentz and Johan Boon will give a presentation on Wednesday 20
October from noon to 1 pm in S/A 103 on research performed at Deltares,
formerly known as Delft Hydraulics, which is an independent non-profit
research and consultancy institute in the Netherlands, including research
on marine and coastal systems, risk assesment of oil spills, water quality
and ecosystem modelling, as well as long-term morphology and
biogeomorphology. Deltares has a strong base in their home country, The
Netherlands, but also does a significant amount of work within the USA.
The primary goal of their visit is to identify mutual interest on these
topics and to explore opportunities for research collaboration between
Deltares and RSMAS. After the presentation there will be time for
discussion.
