Once again it is time for the weekly Lunch Bytes student computing seminar. This week we will explore online data access and visualization using the NASA Giovanni web portal. This topic will be useful for anybody working or planning to work with NASA generated data (air, sea, land....remotely sensed and modeled). Giovanni allows for a rapid and user-friendly (meaning an all point and click environment) method to integrate NASA data into your research. We will place an emphasis on rainfall and chlorophyll data during this short seminar. Expect it to last 30-45 min MAX. You will quickly realize how much info is at your finger-tips! See you at noon in room SA-114. teddy allen University of Miami, class of 201x www.teddyallen.com If you're not enraged, you're NOT paying attention. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Seminars and symposia at RSMAS To unsubscribe, e-mail: seminar-unsubscribe@lists.rsmas.miami.edu For additional commands, e-mail: seminar-help@lists.rsmas.miami.edu Post to: seminar@rsmas.miami.edu
