Prof. Kasilingam is the chairperson of U Mass Dartmouth's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is an expert in adaptive signal processing, applied electromagnetics, wireless communications, and remote sensing for ocean and land applications. He has published a number of papers on radar techniques, radar data processing, and radar image interpretation. Some of his recent projects deal with polarimetry and polarimetric tomography. He is looking for new collaboration opportunities with the remote sensing specialists at RSMAS. If you are interested in talking with him, he will be available after the seminar.
