SEMINAR: 3/14 Fishing Structure in Images of the Sea Surface and Ocean Bottom

Dear colleagues, I've enclosed an announcement for my next seminar this
Sunday, 3/14 at 7 pm.  I would like to thank Gregor Eberli and Mark
Grassmueck for some of the material I will be showing. I always like to
show the work of my RSMAS colleagues in the dozen or so fishing seminars I
give a year.  If anyone has any awesome images/videos of deep bottom
structure, especially with fish,  satellite images with interesting
features (I have quite a few from NASA already),  weed lines/patches,
please email me a copy so that I can include them in this seminar.   I am
also
looking for any nice images or model simulations around the Cayman Islands
to add to my
next seminar in April at the Cayman Swordfish Challenge.  THANKS!!

The club has a new name, The Hollywood Hills Saltwater Fisherman's Science
and Social Club, to allow a wider range of topics to be discussed.  Our
first science meeting of the year will be this Sunday and I'll be leading
the discussion with some pretty cool images of the surface of  the ocean
from space and images from the deep ocean. I hope you can make it and
please spread the word about our club.
