"Haiti: After the January 12th Earthquake"

A first hand experience from someone who has spent three weeks in Haiti right after the devastating magnitude (Mw) 7.0, January 12th earthquake. Estelle, PhD student at RSMAS, has been part of a scientific crew that collected quality GPS observations at 30 sites across the country that will be used to develop better models of the increased seismic hazard from the recent earthquake.

A trip with ups and downs, beauties and tragedies: Estelle will update us with the latest information regarding the earthquake, she will tell us her experience presenting a photo-reportage on the effects of this catastrophic event.
