This is the first event in the new Colloquium on Selected Topics of Applied Marine Physics (CSTAMP), successor of the Twisted Beam Air-Sea Interaction Colloquium Series (TBASICS), organized by the division of Applied Marine Physics of RSMAS. The speaker is a respected expert on geophysical turbulence and ocean circulation modeling and author of the textbook Introduction to Physical Oceanography (Springer).
