Accommodations and Transportation
The Center Directors' Meeting will
take place at the Rosenstiel Marine School Auditorium. Shuttle
transportation will be provided from
the Mutiny Hotel to campus.
Free
shuttle service will be provided to and from the Hotel, the Campus,
and the Restaurant. Shuttling to and from the Airport is available
at the Airport with independent shuttling companies at around $13
per trip. However, we highly recommend a cab-ride which runs
between $16-20 per trip. Taxi service is available to the hotel
from the airport.
Attendees of the Director's Meting will be staying at
the Mutiny
Hotel in Coral Gables Florida. November 22 is the deadline
for room reservations at the conference rates. ALL
RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE THROUGH ADRIANNE AND NOT DIRECTLY WITH THE
HOTEL. Please

Driving
Directions to Hotel:
The
Mutiny Hotel is located at 2951 South Bayshore Drive in Coconut
Grove. It is a terra cotta colored building with green
accents. In
the event you need further assistance, please call the Concierge at (305)
441-2100.
FROM
MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
Exit the airport to Le Jeune Road south to 836 east. Take
836 east for approximately 6 miles. You will
pass a toll plaza. The
toll is 50 cents. Continue
for another 2 ½ miles to Interstate 95 (I-95) south. Proceed on
Interstate 95 (I-95) south until it becomes U.S. 1. Continue
south to 27th Avenue. Make a left
and proceed past three lights to South Bayshore Drive. Make a right
at Bayshore Drive and continue for two blocks. The hotel
is on your right.
FROM THE NORTH:
Proceed on Interstate 95 (1-95) south until it becomes U.S. 1. Continue
south to 27th Avenue. Make a left
and proceed past three lights to South Bayshore Drive. Make a right
at Bayshore Drive and continue for two blocks. The hotel
is on your right.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Continue on U.S.1 north to Bird Avenue. Make
a right and continue down Bird Avenue to 27th Avenue. Make a right
on 27th Avenue and continue past three lights to South Bayshore
Drive. Make
a right and continue for two blocks. The hotel
is on your right.
Directions
to the
UM Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science Campus
from the Hotel:
Exit hotel and turn left onto S BAYSHORE DR. Continue on S BAYSHORE
DR it will become S MIAMI AVE. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-1 N. Turn RIGHT
onto PIONEER RD. It will become RICKENBACKER CSWY ($1 toll). After paying
toll, continue over bridge and just past Miami Seaquarium. Turn right
into Rosenstiel Marine School parking.
