Research InterestsMr. Caban received his B.S. in Medical Informatics and is currentlycompleting his Masters of Public Health. As a recent addition to the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, he will be working on various research projects under the direction of Dr. David Lee. He has recently authored peer-reviewed publications in the field of medical informatics, ambulatory pediatrics, and public health. Mr. Caban anticipates to participate in research projects that will integrate applied and clinical informatics to the arena of public health, particularly among the geriatric population. Mr. Caban currently serves as the chairman, of the Student Working Group for the American Medical Informatics Association and is an active member of the Public Health Informatics working group. |
