Research InterestsWendy Blair Stephan is a health education consultant for the NIEHS Marine and Freshwater Biomedical Sciences Center, Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at the University of Miami. She graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in International Studies, and went on to earn a Masters in Public Health (MPH) at the University of Miami Medical School. Wendy is currently writing curriculum for the Atmospheric and Marine-Based Interdisciplinary Environmental Science Training (AMBIENT) Project and writes lessons for the Environmental Health Perspectives Student Edition. She has created health educational materials for a number or environmental studies, including posters, brochures and informational handouts. She currently develops informational materials on Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) for the Florida Department of Health in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control. Wendy also teaches “Applied Health Education” to graduate students at University of Miami as a Voluntary Instructor.
