HYDROSPHERE is an interdisciplinary research and education center dedicated to the study of global water research issues, spanning the areas of water resources, aqueous environments, hydrology, water ecosystems and water policy.
HYDROSPHERE seeks to advance the knowledge of global water issues through interdisciplinary research into all aspects of atmospheric, surface and subsurface waters. As a global player in the world of water, HYDROSPHERE undertakes applied research projects for public agencies and private companies in an effort to provide solutions to water problems throughout the world. In addition to this, HYDROSPHERE also offers education programs designed to disseminate knowledge that evolves from the research we undertake.
Located at the University of Miami, HYDROSPHERE has long-standing research associations with several institutions in the nearby Caribbean, Central and South America.
