Scientific Dive Office

The Rosenstiel School's Scientific Diving Program (SDP) is dedicated to the safe practice, training, and support of scientific research using diving as a tool.

The Scientific Diving Program serves the University of Miami's entire research community that requires diving to conduct the research. The program supports divers researching marine archeology, biology, ecology, geology, physics, and physical oceanography. Project locations include the local reef systems, Florida Keys, Little Salt Spring (Central Florida), Galapagos Islands, Dominican Republic, and Panama.
