Joint Bachelor of Science Degree Program
in Marine Science

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the two universities to establish a joint Bachelor of Science degree program in the marine sciences. The University of Miami component will be hosted by the Undergraduate Marine and Atmospheric Science Program at the Coral Gables campus.

Highlights: The first students will begin studies in Fall 2000 Students will spend the first two years in Panama Students will spend the last two years in Miami After successful completion of the B.S. degree, students may stay for an additional six months of practical training and earn a Master's degree
