Dr. Leaman's interest include the propagation of internal waves; current profiling techniques; measurement of heat and volume transport profiles in the Florida Current; studies of western boundary currents; observations of deep water mixing and spreading during winter convection in the northwestern Mediterranean; and instrument design.
