Atmospheric Aerosols

Professors Prospero, Savoie and Maring's primary research interests include the chemical, physical and optical properties of aerosols. In an effort to understand the importance of atmospheric aerosols, they make measurements of these aerosol properties both in a continuous mode at long-term field sites, such as Barbados and Tenerife in the Canary Islands, and more intensively at ground sites and from light aircraft.
