Undergraduate Study Abroad Programs

The University of Miami offers a unique of study abroad program that allows students to become part of the global scientific community by studying at one of nearly 50 programs at 20 of the worlds top institutions of higher learning. Because our program is based on a one to one student exchange, finanical aid arrangments and scholarships can be applied to study abroad. The exchange also enrinches the perspective of classes at UM, where students from Australia, Britian, Israel, and Japan can describe the unique problems and approaches to their issues of environmental concern.

The Marine Science Program has established a special affiliation with several Australian universities, including

Students from the University of Miami may apply for junior year studies, while Australian students enroll in courses at the University of Miami. This program provides extensive field studies and a rewarding opportunity to participate in scholarly activities in an excellent University system. Because of the rigor of the Australian science curriculum, exchange students must have a 3.0 G.P.A. in order to qualify. Students make application to the program during the spring semester of their freshman year.
