The University of Miami offers a unique study abroad program that allows students to become part of the global scientific community by studying at one of nearly 50 programs at 20 of the worlds top institutions of higher learning. Because our program is based on a one to one student exchange, financial aid arrangements and scholarships can be applied to study abroad. To date, U of Miami meteorology students have studied abroad in Australia (Monash University), Britain (University of East Anglia), Scotland (University of Edinburgh), and South Africa (University of Cape Town). Studies abroad typically take place during the junior year. The exchange also enriches the perspective of meteorology students at UM. Students from Britain, Germany, and Denmark have participated in the U of Miami undergraduate meteorology program.
