Marine Science Minor

A minor in Marine Science is now offered to all UM students by the Rosentiel School. The 15 credit minor will fulfill the STEM cognate requirement. The minor consists of:
MSC111 (Introduction to Marine Science, 3 cr)
MSC112 (Introduction to Marine Science Lab, 3 cr) 12 credits of Marine Science electives, at least 6 of which must be at the 300-level or higher.

Notes: Students majoring in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Science should replace MSC111 with an additional elective, and all electives must be above and beyond those used for the major.
