Tour Information

Thank you for your interest in touring the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science.

As one of the world’s premier marine and atmospheric research institutions we offer dynamic interdisciplinary academics,
and are dedicated to helping communities to better understand our planet.

Guided tours are hosted by the RSMAS Graduate Studies Office (GSO) and Master of Professional Science Office (MPS) To schedule a tour in advance feel free to email the hosting office for the day you are requesting. Please see tour schedule below.


Fall and Spring Semesters

Tuesday and Friday - Graduate Studies Office (GSO) in SLAB 130 @ 2:30 p.m.

Monday and Thursday - Master of Professional Science Office (MPS) in SLAB 132 @ 2:30 p.m.

Guided tours will not be available on Wednesdays or during the following dates: May 15th - August 15th, Week of Thanksgiving, Week of Christmas, Week of New Years.

Please note we cannot accommodate large group tours.


Undergraduate Students

Prospective undergraduate students should first visit UM’s main Coral Gables campus, where they will take the majority of their classes. A general tour of the main Coral Gables campus, offered by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions can be booked online by clicking here.

The undergraduate Marine and Atmospheric Science Program office offers information sessions on the main Coral Gables Campus with faculty and/or peer counselors.
Fall/Spring:   August 28th – May 8th, Monday – Friday at 12:45pm (by appointment only)
Summer:       May 14th – August 17th, Tuesday and Friday at 9am (by appointment only)

*Information sessions will not be available during: the first week of classes, Commencement, week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and all University recognized federal holidays.
