Background Information

Arriving by Plane ...
We are arranging for a shuttle bus to pick people up at the G.Galilei airport in Pisa and the C.Colombo airport in Genova on the Saturday and Sunday before the meeting (the 11th and 12th of June). We will group passengers by arrival times to minimize wait times at the airport. After you have booked your airline tickets, please email Annalisa your full itinerary (Airline / Flight Numbers / Arrival Date & Times / Connections / European Cellular phone number if you have one, etc.) so that we can begin to make a shuttle bus schedule. We will contact you through email in early June concerning the shuttle bus schedule.
Arriving by Train ...
The nearest train station to Lerici is in La Spezia (10 km), La Spezia FS.
To get to Lerici from the La Spezia train station,
by Taxi ... a taxi is about € 25 (euros).
by Bus ... from outside La Spezia train station, take the bus L (Lerici) or S (Sarzana through Lerici). Departures every 15 minutes starting from 6.15 to 19.30, then at 19.55 - 20.15 - 20.45 - 21.15 - 22.10 - 22.55 - 0.05. Journey time: 35 minutes. It is important to note that you cannot pay the busfare on the bus itself; you have to buy the bus ticket at the bar of the train station.
