The preliminary announcement about the first IAI/UM Summer Institute was released on December 16, 1998. Since then, we have received over 100 requests for information. This update is to notify all those interested in the Institute about recent developments.
We expect to release the official Institute announcement approximately on February 15, 1999. This announcement will include a preliminary Institute program, the names of the Institute leaders and some guest lecturers, and (most importantly!) information on how to apply for participation in the Institute.
